How I Keep Families in the Loop
I offer flexible, regular updates tailored to suit you and your preferences. This can include:
- Phone or Video Calls: Get check-ins or updates
- Text or Email Updates: Quick updates on daily activities, well-being, or plans.
- Progress Reports: Share how your loved one is working towards their NDIS goals.
- Family Meetings: I can organise regular meetings (in person or virtual) to talk about progress, changes, or ideas.
- Emergency Communication: You’ll always be contacted quickly in the case of urgent or unexpected events.
- Listening to Your Feedback: Your insight matters. I encourage families to share ideas or concerns so I can improve care together.
Respecting Independence and Privacy
While I keep families informed, I also respect the participants’ right to independence and privacy. I work closely with each individual to find the right balance, so they feel in control of their life, while their loved ones stay connected and supported too.
